@zheinold1014 That is a great stat. I like how they break it out by year like that. I can't do that with golf shot, but doing a little math, I've got 78-birdies on the year so far. Need to get my act together before the end of the year.
@MidwestGolfJake I'm a 6-index and hit my 5-iron 200 yards and totally agree with you. I've been thinking about swapping out my 4 & 5 for hybrids, but I pured my 4 iron today with a nice little baby draw and now it is part of my kids inheritance.
@zheinold1014 Those water jugs get nasty unless the course is up on cleaning them. I'd rather pay a dollar for a bottle of water than run the risk of drinking whatever is in that old Gatorade cooler.
My post yesterday stirred a lot of discussion about sales territory. To recap, I believe that they are outdated and that data should be used to assign opportunities vs. territories.
Ultimately, what we all want to do is make a number. If I can make my number with fewer people, that is a bonus. But you're not going to get fewer people to make a bigger number without some significant changes to your business model.
While it didn't work out, I still think that there is a big opportunity for software to do lead and opportunity distribution based on the seller that has the highest propensity to close that particular deal and get rid of territories altogether.
