This basically describes the air conditioner debate as well. Americans are like "just fix it" and Europeans see some sort of dignity in being miserable for no reason when a solution exists.
Bill Clinton: “I killed myself trying to give the Palestinians a state. I had a deal they turned down that would have given them all of Gaza and 97% of the West Bank. You name it. They turned it down.”
The Palestinians never wanted peace.
This must be shared every single day.
Sometimes I exaggerate or say things for views. This is not one of those times. When you declare neutrality in every single World War like Belgium has done and rely on the United States to save your ass you lose your right to complain about an overturned red card 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
My favorite thing about 4th of July is tyrannical local governments saying “No discharging of weapons and no Fireworks!!” and the tax paying citizens who pay their salary saying “Thank you for reminding me this is America. This is my front yard actually and I’ll invite all my friends to celebrate in it”
They left home as boys 8 decades ago to go out and save the world. Last night they sat at the WWII Memorial together and celebrated their country's 250th. Still heroic.
“And as a symbol of our independence, we will say the month first instead of the date. March 12th instead of the 12th of March, October 3rd instead of the 3rd of October, etc.”
“And July 4th instead of 4th of July, sir?”
“No. That one stays.”
