@Magouster@ErnstRoets Yes, corruption has depleted our nation. It takes longer to rebuild than to destroy. But when a govt takes a step to start navigate, we should acknowledge, while continuing to shine a light on infrastructure collapse, crime, etc. Both things can be true at the same time
@yolandi_britz@ErnstRoets My comments were about Roets' approach to our problems (claiming white genocide), not a denialism of crime, unemployment, infrastructure collapse. But these issues affect black people disproportionately more than white people. But his narrative is that whites are main victims.
@Magouster@ErnstRoets Axing of high-ranking corrupt police who enable flagrant corruption, NPA and SIU have been received additional resources to go after illicit activity, SARS going after those who evade tax, we're not experiencing level 8 loadshedding daily. Just 3 examples, but I can give more
@Magouster@ErnstRoets Honey...there is a lot wrong eith out country, including corruption and mismanagement. But do you see the small gains? And the ANC is now in a ruling coalition with others who want to work together to make it work, not badmouthing us abroad.
@ErnstRoets Agree, we criticise the govt, but we don't create a diplomatic issue overseas that further stagnate our economy by saying there is a white genocide on.
@VanFrancoi73054@SABCNews Angola is also an oil producing nation. We are not. And we let our refineries die, so we have to buy refined fuel products. That is on the govt, yes, but the international oil spike of last 2 months is outside our realm of control.
@WellsJorda89710 All people are God's people. Man and woman he created them, equal in dignity. Even if someone rejects God, they're still God's people. Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist. God weeps when ANY of his children suffer.
@VanFrancoi73054@SABCNews No reason for fuel increases? Have you been watching world news? If the US and Israel would stop their war, the petrol price will decrease. I agree our gov't is failing us, but right now, external problems are the reason for rising petrol prices.
@TheDemSlayer Catholic just means universal. It should remind us of a time when all Christians were united around Christ. Before the schism, before the Reformation, before the counter-reformation, before the rise of pentecostal and evangelical churches. And that unity is still our desire
