Kings’ is an oversubscribed, happy and successful 11-16 Community School with around 1715 pupils, serving the city of Winchester and the surrounding area.

Pupils could make comments or put forward their own ideas to the suggestion box. At least five hundred children tried the samples each day and some great suggestions have been made which has been fed back to our suppliers. #UnaLaborantes #WorkingTogether 2/2

Kings’ School supported National School Meals Week by inviting our suppliers & food manufacturers reps to present their school-compliant products to our pupils. Each day of this special week, there were tasters available at lunchtime for everyone to try. 1/2

Our Headboy and Headgirl attended the Memorial Sunday service of Remembrance at Winchester Cathedral yesterday, and laid a wreath on behalf of the governors, staff and pupils of Kings' School. #UnaLaborantes #WorkingTogether #RemembranceSunday

Joe Wilkinson, Hampshire Youth Parliament candidate, says: "I have always had a strong interest in what is going on in the world around us, on a global and local scale, and am always curious to learn more, that is why I am standing for the Hampshire Youth parliament. 1/2

In addition, Kings' School's first ever Recognition Breakfast is due to take place on Thursday 9th of December. Pupils in Years 10 & 11 who have received a positive postcard or phone call will be entered into a prize draw to win a place at the breakfast. 2/2

Year 10 &11 pupils earn points towards the House Recognition Cup for each positive phone call & post card home received. Years 7-9 pupils receive postcards & phone calls, but may also be issued Credits at the back of their Kings' School planners.

Our annual Remembrance Day ceremony took place at Kings' School yesterday, 11th November. A poignant address from Rev Neil Birkett and readings from Y9 pupils as well as St Thomas's Old Boys made for a moving occasion. #UnaLaborantes #RemembranceDay2021
