I was wondering why my husband is so nonchalant about our 5 y/o crawling into our bed in the middle of the night… And then it dawned on me. She’s ALWAYS on my side of the bed. He’s blissfully unaware and undisturbed. 🙄 Happy Father’s Day, Sleeping Beauty.
I started the year with a reading goal of 24 books. Last night I finished my 58th book (242% of my goal). But SOMEONE upon seeing me hit my goal early in the year suggested I up it to 40 books (145% of goal). I know I am an overachiever, but 242% sounds better than 145%.

We cried when Mufasa died.
She laughed when Timon and Pumba did their live bait skit in the hula skits.
And when Rafiki hit Simba with a stick, she laughed and imitated him.
But when the movie was done, she still asked for Blippi.
It’s my 3.5 y/o’s first time watching The Lion King (because the dogs are at the groomers).
Here are some highlights:
-Zazu is sat on by the rhino at the end of I Can’t Wait to Be King, “Where’d he go?” *laughs*
-First glimpse of the elephant graveyard, “Wow… beautiful!”
