Looking forward to welcoming our new foundation stage intake and their parents for a play and learn session at Brookmead after school today. This will help familiarise the children with their new learning environment whilst with their parents - a safe base from which to explore.

We are ready for the jubilee celebrations tomorrow! Don't forget to wear red, white and blue non uniform tomorrow.

Forest school was lovely today. We went foraging for flowers. This initiated some amazing in the moment learning about seed dispersal. When we got back to the classroom we explored explosive dispersal with elastic bands and poms poms! I have frozen the flowers to make ice flowers

Next week we will be reading The Magic Faraway Tree. We'll be imagining our own fantasy worlds, mixing magic potions and using the book, Choose Your Own Fairy Tales to help us structure our own stories.
