How lucky is this little guy (age: 10 months) to have an entire collection of grownups hanging on his every move?
It’s something we should aspire to for every child.
Here’s why:
The period from prenatal to age three is uniquely consequential. It’s during this time that the brain is “wired” in ways that will ultimately support - or hinder - children’s longterm success.
And to a large extent, this metaphorical wiring results from nurturing, attentive interactions with the significant adults in children’s lives - which makes every one of us a potential contributor to children’s optimal development.
Whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, a teacher, an aunt or uncle, a neighbor, a friend… your time is never wasted showing attention and kindness to the children in your lives.
So give it freely and be a brain builder. 🧠

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude, be kind, but not weak, be bold, but not bully, be thoughtful, but not lazy, be humble, but not timid, be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly. – Jim Rohn
