He was found guilty of abusing his position on the APPG to promote and sell his biography - a conflict of interest.
If you want some context and evidence that he was aware of the problems with grass roots then DM me

Hi Jeff. good piece about re: Boxing. I see Chris Evans MP has added his weight to the campaign. Evans has known about the problems in amateur boxing for years did nothing.
In fact, he was referred to Parliamentary standards office for abusing his position

The Met Police were recently made aware that a sergeant abused their authority by ordering officers to breach social distancing regs. When he was reported his DI did nothing. The matter was referred to IOPC & now they’re trying to bury it despite overwhelming proof
@LBC
it’s blatant hypocrisy by the Met Police to enforce social distancing when they let their own officers breach social distancing regulations, lie about it & then have police complaints try & sweep it under the carpet.
Shocking but true
@theRealEnzoMac Boxers struggle during & after they finish. About 5% actually make a real living from boxing. Most are terribly advised & are exploited. So many talented boxers lose money because they can’t sell their ticket allocation.
Meanwhile, everyone else gets rich off them. Scandalous
@DawnButlerBrent we have a youth boxing club in Harrow & Islington. Following unacceptable conduct from Met police we lodged a formal complaint with IOPC & as a result are on the receiving end of a malicious vendetta. Please contact us for more info.
