@FoodProfessor Why hasn't inflation negatively impact grocer profits?
They're enjoying record high profits because they're setting record high prices.
They could've kept prices lower but then they wouldn't have the resulting record high profits *created by* the price increases.
@damnfoodcourt I missed the poll! Raschuache is one of the best 1st songs on an album of all time but Pattern Against User is a masterpiece so I'm a vote for Relationship of Command.
In other places besides Cape Breton when something is on sale at a store do people say it like:
"I saw butter is on at Sobeys"
Or "they got the turkeys on at No Frills"
Dropping 'sale' bc it is automatically implied by being "on"?
Is this regional or universal?
