The US vs Aus soccer ref is cramping up and the announcers are blaming the heat in Seattle. Um...it's literally 80º in Seattle. That was the overnight low in Texas last night.

I feel for the ref, cramping is no fun and dehydration is no joke, but let's not pretend 80º is hot.

@SecondAmendment Yep. Houston's where I live now, but in the Hill Country where I'm from a "feeder" has a very different meaning. So to me a feeder will always be a deer feeder, and an access road is an access road. When I hear a yuppie call an access road a feeder, I know they're from Houston.

@nicksortor People talk about the high incarceration rate in America. And I do believe some (if not many) people are being unjustly incarcerated with a length of sentence not commensurate with their crime. But watching this - our jails aren’t nearly big or full enough.
