@thenordicllama When people are incapable of seeing themselves as flawed or part of a problem, the only thing left is to find fault with others. If you’re perfect, then anything you see as a problem, or anything that doesn’t sit well with you, must be something worth attacking. A social disease.
@thenordicllama It doesn’t help that there is a prevalent perversion of thought that says, “You are perfect just the way you are.” People are encouraged to believe that there is nothing wrong with them, that everything they do and say is just an extension of them and therefore beyond reproach.
@AircondaTvT@Di_bear Well, yeah. It goes along with the whole “calling good evil, and evil good” thing. I find that most folks with a take/opinion that reflects a perversion of truth and reality apply said perversion to every situation.
