What’s the difference between the two plays? Leading with crown of helmet is an indicator for targeting regardless of where the hit strikes the opponent

@TheSeanEngland But it doesn’t have to be to the head or neck area if it is a defenseless play which Tate was when trying to catch a pass. This is the same play Joey Bosa got kicked out in the first quarter of the 2015 bowl game.

@fakecorykinnan not making excuse as Miami 100% won that game last night in every phase, but how is this not reviewed for targeting? Clearly leads with the crown of his helmet. This is no different than the hit the Clemson linebacker put on Fields or Shawn Wade on Lawerence a few years ago
