What did Noah use as his reference point for objective truth when building the ark? Insights originating from the earnest prayers and meditations and listenings of an importunate heart are more reliable than the works of human committees. We can observe corruptibility of the Bible even in present-day translations meant to serve human agendas. This is not God's failure.

I understand the fear alluded to in your post: if you can't believe in the Bible, what basis is there for assessing truth? This fear is based on a western epistomology that requires knowledge to be obtained through learning. But you can obtain gnosis through prayer and contemplation. This spiritual insight is unmediated, but receiving it requires the courage to reach it in utter solitude, without any of the comforts of consensus or human approval. May God bless your seeking.

God's word was the living Christ, mocked and slain by Edomites, the synagogue of Satan. The (current) Bible is just a collection of texts chosen, amid great controversy and repression, by human committee, subject to human ambitions. It contains profound truth--enough truth that, with prayer and meditation, we can be guided toward righteousness.

That this assembly of texts represents the unaltered word of God is just a dogma, pure and simple, Mr. Williams. It is human opinion, with zero support in Christ's teachings and without much reason to support it.

In the end, it is each Christian's duty to pray to God for spiritual insight and discernment and to work out our salvation alone, in the midst of a thousand false messiahs, false doctrines, and snares of the enemy. God be with you in your seeking.

@seethroughit2 I agree with many of your points. But Jesus was not a "Jew," at least wha is now called a Jew, nor was he God. Much of the Bible has been corrupted, yet there remains much truth in it. May God bless your search for truth.
