Well done to our new S2 & S4 pupils taking part in the Edinburgh Schools Mountain Bike Championship yesterday. Oscar won his race 🏆 (on a borrowed bike after breaking his on the warm up lap!) and Monica, Darlene & Salma did very well for their first ever bike race! 🚲

Thanks to Dom and the team @EdinburghBQ for teaching our S1s about the importance of vaccines, herd immunity and the HPV virus. They are in all week speaking to S1 and S2 science classes.

The National 5 Laboratory Science class have now started the Microbiology section of their course. Here they are working with the School Technicians, learning how to carry out the Microbiology experiments in a safe and controlled environment

DIASTER - A hurricane struck Holy Rood this week! Luckily S2 were on hand to help us out and put their IDL learning into action during our disaster relief challenge. Thanks to the S4 helpers and STEM ambassadors for helping us out all day.
