PICTORIAL: MT Scholar Simisola Oloye on the 3MT Stage at Purdue University
Excellence is never a one-off moment. It leaves a trail.
From the stage to the spotlight, these moments capture the poise, clarity, and confidence that defined 2020 MT Scholar, Simisola Oloye’s outing at the 2026 3MT Competition.
Beyond the recognition, this is what truly stands out: the long hours, mastery of thought, and refined thinking.
And of course, the ability to make complex ideas resonate in just 3 minutes.
This is what preparation looks like when it meets opportunity.
My friend, Pharmacist Simisola Oloye is competing in a thesis contest, and she needs your votes 🙏🏽
This is the first time Nigeria will make it to the finals since the competition started at Purdue, and we really want to bring it home 🇳🇬
Voting will be open for just 15 minutes on April 22 (7–9 PM EST / 12–2 AM WAT). I know it is late in Nigeria, but please come through for this.
If you are in the U.S., even better, please support her. She is an alumna of the University of Ibadan.
Let’s bring this home 🇳🇬🔥
