Guess what? Our next petition will be about YOUR salaries.

We deliberately included examples from Singapore, Germany and the USA in our petition so you could learn that even countries far wealthier than the Maldives don't give MPs exclusive access to basic healthcare unavailable to ordinary citizens.

It's called BASIC healthcare for a reason. Your job title should NEVER determine the healthcare you're entitled to.

And no, “MidhuHam” will NEVER enter Parliament to whine about his salary and allowances or complain that people keep asking him for money.

Why? Because “MidhuHam” will NEVER buy votes.

If some of you bought your way into Parliament, that's YOUR problem. Why should taxpayers foot the bill for your political expenses?
