@impala_mat682@FinancialPhys Very true. We invest a car payment each month and drive our cars for at least 10 years. My recent car was paid for with the gains from my "payment" after my previous car was totaled.
@doognek@WallStreetApes Samsung hasn't had an SD card reader for over 6 years now and Google has never had one. Unfortunately, they are pretty much a thing of the past in favor of cloud storage. That's what I really used to like about older phones too
@SomebodyGr8t@theisabelb What does the answer key say? Ron Paul is the only one even remotely close to his actual position. I'd put Trump in the Authoritarian position only because he's used to making independent decisions and the Left refuses to work with him on even basic stuff
@HistoryBoutique@theisabelb I don't know, I knew my US History teacher was far left and it caused me to challenge my assumptions and solidify why I believed what I did. I'm fairly contrariam though and like to ask questions of conventional wisdom though.
@tadepallir@EricLDaugh They could, but Democrats have been trying to flip Orange County for 10+ years. With 3M people, it's larger than 20 states and holds 7 seats so it's a huge prize. How it's done is secondary.
@tadepallir@EricLDaugh Not to mention it's been known for at least a decade that birthright tourism has been big business with Chinese women coming here in visas and then giving birth and going back home. It's gaming the system from its original intent.
@tadepallir@EricLDaugh The WSJ had an article about it a few months ago. A county clerk here noticed that a single name appeared to be occuring often on birth records and that's how they found out what was happening.
@ShannonGroveCA Instead, can we put their existence before the 9th Circuit Court after the Chevron Deferance ruling by the Supreme Court several years ago? I'm surprised with Chevron leaving the state they don't bring this themself.
@newtgingrich California spending per capita is up 40% inflation adjusted over the past 25 years. It's not an income problem. Not to mention ~50% of income comes from 1% of people who they are actively trying to tax more
@IamAdamKuhn@TomEllsworth@allenanalysis Trump did not "shut down the country. It was individual state governors who chose that. Hence why Abbott, Desantis, and a couple others take credit for opening their states when blue states chose to keep schools and businesses closed for 1-2 years after.
@prolifeai @nickshirleyy I'm moreso questioning voting 55 times. That means if there's a primary and general election every 2 years they have records of her voting going back to 1970? Do they really keep records that long?
@OCpatriot_@nickshirleyy Point 1 - The place would have a record of that person so they could pick up their mail.
Point 2 - The school will have a record of students whether homeless or not. If they receive something not addressed to a student, it would be returned
Point 3 - Same as Point 1
@Callahan0808@ofctimallen Keep going. It gets a bit monotonous through Numbers and again in Chronicles but I would advise using a study Bible. I like the BibleRef app that can give you some context and how certain things can be cross referenced with others throughout the Bible.
@AnthonyVicino Not only was El Cap far more technical due to the inconsistencies of the surface, but it's almost twice as high. The fact that he did it in 4 hours (vs. 1.5 hrs for Taipai 101 is even more incredible. That's a level of focus and stamina that is unbelievable.
