@EvolvingWild They took those hits out in junior, any hit to the head is a penalty, in time they’ve learned to avoid the head.

Why is high sticking a penalty but hitting somebody in the head is not?

@stephen_burtch That’s fair. It all likely comes out in the wash anyway.

There have certainly been some odd calls lately but if you look back to earlier in the season I’m sure there were odd calls that went the other way.

@stephen_burtch I think you’re right, the reaction is definitely overblown, but there has been a reduction in the number of penalties he’s drawn over the past month and a half.

He definitely had a greater penalty differential prior to six weeks or so ago.
