Intermittently working on a HUB75 display driver for the RP2350. Iterative design and deep optimization unlocked a rich feature set, featuring a pipeline written entirely in Cortex-M33 assembly.
It will either be a huge success or a total fiasco. π²
@ForrestPKnight I picked M33 ASM, to push RP2350 to the limits.
Staying so close to the silicon, my ear is plugged with thermal paste.
Came up with beautiful architecture.
Still working on it. New ideas keep popping up.
@_stc Well, I'm targettng a 1EUR mcu, Pico2 aka RP2350, not Raspberry Pi. Pushing it to the limits with ASM - pumping up to 16384px via 1 or 2 HUB75 channels. Will share anyway if I finish it.
@Km0107_39 When you make a next order of male USB-C USB2.0 boards , make sure to take care of resistors.
- For Host/Power source usage you want two 56K resistors connected from CC1/CC2 lines to VBUS.
- For Device/Power sink you want two 5k1 resistors connected from CC1/CC2 lines to GND. π
@ATaylorFPGA Exciting times are coming in the thermal imaging space, with InfiRay sensors making ripples in the commercial/consumer market.
This is a USB-C dongle with a Tiny-1C sensor (256Γ192@25Hz)

@BenjaminDEKR They are commonly referred to as read-only X users. They will read your post, follow your advice, but won't engage. If you get a like, that's fantastic. If you fish out a reply, that's HUGE.
