Daily Self Reminder:
Do a small action to kickstart your momentum for the day RIGHT NOW
• Get out for your workout
• Brain dump your thoughts
• Choose the healthy breakfast
Just get the ball rolling.
• Stop fking around
• Stop doom scrolling
• Stop making up lame excuses
Stop getting overwhelmed by planning for perfection.
Just take an action towards the right direction.
Let the momentum compound
Do the thing that excites you and terrifies you all at once.
Apply for the dream job.
Say yes to love.
Go on that adventure.
Start again somewhere new.
The best moments in life are the ones that make you step outside your comfort zone.
You know that mix of excitement and fear you feel when you think about doing something big? That’s where the magic happens.
It’s scary because it matters, and exciting because deep down, you know it’s worth it.
~30 days left in 2024
This year might not have gone how you hoped, and that’s okay.
Life doesn’t always unfold as we expect.
But the story isn’t done.
There are still 30 days—30 chances to take small steps, to move forward, to be kind to yourself
You’ve come so far this year.
See the strength in that
That’s a win worth celebrating.
This month carries much more than just an ending. It’s a chance to pause and really see how far we’ve come.
Maybe the year wasn’t perfect, and that’s okay—life rarely is. But every small step we took, every moment we showed up, those are worth celebrating.
Not everything needs to be tied up neatly with a bow. Sometimes, it’s enough to simply be.
30 days can be game changing if you have a singular focus goal. I dropped 5% and 10 pounds in Aug this year to regain my abs (and another 5% in Sep)
What is ONE thing that will make you say this year was great. Focus solely on that goal.
I find fitness and family relationships are typically good ones to focus on. They often show returns based on your inputs/efforts.
Or if you've been driving yourself into the ground this year, maybe it's time to be graceful to yourself and take a chill pill :)
Travel Tip: I'm paying 20% lesser for my upcoming hotel stay.
If you booked an accommodation with free cancellation, always double check prices again as the date gets closer.
The price might drop since they want to sell out the rooms.
Cancel and rebook at the cheaper rate.
Freelance Insight #2:
Understanding which part of the clients’ conversion funnel you are contributing to will allow you emphasize on metrics that matter the most to them.
Freelance Insight #!:
They say freelancing equates to having multiple bosses
Not untrue BUT…
You get to choose your bosses
And you get to fire them because you are not reliant on just one.
It’s the freedom of choice that it brings.
For Internal:
1) I use video recordings (loom)
2) I consider if the video contains repetitive instructions or valuable case study/feedback on a piece of work.
If so, I save it either to a task onboarding folder or useful resource folder. These become assets for future that will relief my time. Easier onboarding and reduces common mistakes.

For External Leads:
1) I mention we work with international clients (multiple timezones). Therefore, we don't take calls because we find it's the most efficient way to serve all our clients.
Benefit: Gives an explanation + creates authority with subtle hint on robust client base
2) Express empathy by mentioning that I totally understand if they to work with calls, in which case we are not a good fit.
Benefit: Shows you acknowledge their POV, while narrowing down the right clients to fit workflow.
3) Explain that it is best for all information to be documented so it can be passed down the communication chain easily.
Benefit: This removes a lot of information fluff which happens in calls/chatting.
4) We have a template to collect the necessary information needed, and clarify anything else via chat.
The world is separated by two mindsets.
1. Why it wouldn't work
2. How can I make it work
Our actions become very different once we start with the latter question in our minds.
