REMEMBERING OCTOBER 7 - What Really Happened:

⚫️ In the ten months prior to October 7, 2023, Israel killed nearly 250 Palestinians and wounded more than 6,000, including many children.

⚫️ Israel also continued to detain, imprison (without charges), abuse and torture thousands of Palestinian civilians, including children.

⚫️ According to US and Israeli logic, Palestinians "have a right to defend themselves" and were therefore justifiably entitled to retaliate.

⚫️ On 10/7/23, Hamas and other Palestinian groups attacked Israeli military and civilian targets, killing and kidnapping hundreds of civilians.

⚫️ As reported by Israeli media, many more Israelis were killed that day by their own troops under the 'Hannibal Directive' (or 'Hannibal Protocol').

⚫️ The Hannibal Directive is a rule of engagement in which Israelis fire on their own people, killing them if necessary, to prevent hostage-taking.

⚫️ In the immediate aftermath of the 10/7/23 attack, Zionist sources, including Joe Biden, began spreading stories of alleged Hamas atrocities.

⚫️ In subsequent months, the rumors of beheaded Israeli babies, mass rape, and other such horrors were debunked by reputable media outlets.

⚫️ Since last October, Israel has conducted a nonstop campaign of collective punishment against Palestinians, a war crime under international law.

⚫️ The Biden-Harris administration has supplied the weapons, money, logistics, and justification for Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

⚫️ Notably, the same kinds of atrocities attributed to Hamas — which were later disproved — have been committed by Israel against Palestinians.

⚫️ Israel has engaged in every manner of murdering, maiming, and brutalizing women, children, journalists, doctors, academics, aid workers, etc.

⚫️ Israel has dropped tens of thousands of US-made 2,000-pound bombs on Gaza, razing hospitals, schools, refugee camps, and residential buildings.

⚫️ Israel's targeting of children has been particularly barbaric, with US and Canadian doctors reporting direct sniper shots to small children's heads.

⚫️ Under accepted international norms, there is no moral or legal justification ("it's Hamas's fault," "human shields," and so on) for Israel's mass killing.

⚫️ The International Criminal Court has determined that Israel's year-long massacre of Palestinian civilians in Gaza is a crime against humanity.

PERSONAL NOTE: These are all documented facts. Spin and propaganda do not change the reality. We lose our humanity if we do not categorically and vehemently oppose the mass murder and brutalizing of children, which Israel is doing with the help of both US ruling parties.

Rewarding Biden and Harris with a vote is morally wrong. Rewarding Trump and the GOP with a vote is morally wrong. All attacks against civilians should be unacceptable, including what Hamas did on 10/7/23, and Israel's decades of vicious violence against the Palestinian people.

Now Israel, with the full support of the Biden-Harris administration, is expanding its war to Lebanon, with massive bombardment of residential areas. We must stand up and speak out against this genocidal behavior, and all such violence against civilians (particularly children), from Congo to Sudan to Yemen to the US southern border, or we have no moral compass.
