@ZaaGotNext2@_MNMuse That was his first experience in the playoffs, and he had games of 18 & 16, 22 & 15, and 23 & 14. He wasn't nearly as bad as fans like to say.
@DonHarris4 Interesting precedent here. League grants leniency as long as there was a missed foul prior to a rage-induced blow to the head/neck area of your opponent.
@SneakerReporter I don't think they will nor should suspend, but it's interesting that Spurs fans (& coach!) are leaning into the "it was justified" angle that fully admits that it was intentional, which then implies that it was malicious.
They all celebrated getting ethical hoops in the 2nd round. Now they're realizing that means playing with contact. Whining about getting "pushed around."
This is how you protect your franchise player
Wemby has been getting absolutely fouled and pushed around all series
Wolves aren't playing basketball with Wemby, they just beating him up
And they had him on national TV during the playoffs the same season talking about Rudy and the Wolves. Just months later like it never happened. No one batted an eye.
@JahlilWill If they hit 3 more threes, the whole calculus of the game changes in real time. Just adding 9 to a final score with no other assumptions doesn't make sense.
@HugggHuhyu93210@bballbreakdown@huskers4liife Coincidentally, calling a foul here would have taken away the transition 3 for the Spurs, so they did not get robbed in this instance.
The worst team in the NBA has never actually even won the #1 pick in the current format btw. But that charade can only go on for so long before it gets suspicious. This will make that easier.
