@Callihan_ If you take away Cam Cook’s 70 yd opening run; he was subpar, averaging a little over 2yds per carry, the remainder of the game against a non-power 4 team in a rebuilding year with a new head coach.🤔
@chadmoore514@Callihan_ If my memory serves correct, Scotty lead our team to a 45 to 35 win over a 21st ranked Houston last season! Coastal wasn’t ranked and in a rebuilding year! We’ll see what this Saturday brings.
@Callihan_@SI_WVU So…., your point is that Rich has Mike on a very short leash?🤔. Interesting.🤔. Playmakers make plays when the chips are down and a play needs to be made. We saw Bailey do that, but that was not the case for Mike, particularly in the second half.
@Callihan_@SI_WVU So knowing that the defense was loading the box to defend the run, why didn’t Mike use his legs to scramble and throw down field like his counterpart did????🤔. Either he wasn’t smart enough to recognize that or Rich didn’t have the confidence in his ability to throw down field!
@Callihan_ That sounds like excuses to me! Bailey was by far the better of the two quarterbacks playing in the game and that’s why Rich ride went out of his way to seek Bailey out as Mike’s replacement for next season!
@Callihan_ What game were you watching? 1st drive 3rd qtr: 3 plays for 8yds and a punt. 2nd drive 3rd qtr: 3 plays for 0 yds and a punt. 1st drive of 4th qtr: 3 plays for 0 yds and a punt. The team was forced to punt 3 of the 4 possessions, minus the last drive ending in a kneel.
@Callihan_ Schuyler, I love you man, but I was not impressed. Rich should’ve put Scotty Fox in the fourth quarter after Michael’s abysmal performance at QB during the third quarter. Scotty has way more experience running Rich Rod’s scheme than Mike and Scotty has a better throwing arm.
@Callihan_ Not buying it. You are over hyping him. He fumbled the ball on what should have been a scoring drive. He only mustered up a whopping 8 yds on 3 3-and-out drives in the 2nd half. Where was his amazing arm and foot speed then???🤔
