I think the only thing Stopping the 4th season of The Orville is Seth.
I read this quote a while ago.
“I will be honest with you: Season four is written,” MacFarlane says of The Orville. “It’s just a question of when we have the time to produce it.”
Sounds like he is just too busy at the moment.

Never said I was trying to silence anyone but it sound's like you are.
I grew up with Star Trek and they were always pushing the boundaries but now they are getting bullied for doing that it just doesn't make sense.
I mean Kirk kissing Uhura was the first interracial kiss on TV.
They had a Russian on the bridge while the cold war was going on.
Every chance they got they were trying to show humanity being more than it was at the time.
Now they try to do it and they get told they are "Woke" and to go back to how they were which makes no sense.

@MichaelShanks I know you probably won't even see this but you're one of the reasons I started acting and the fact that you are still involved with and helping to try get Stargate back on people's screen is amazing. Sci-fi is something very special to me as my dad used it as a way to connect with me from a very young age and now that he has passed away every time I watch a Sci-fi show or movie it makes me think of him and how much he would have enjoyed it. We were both huge Stargate fans and watch it when it originally aired and now I watch it every year. I really hope Amazon reverses their cancellation. @dial_the_gate If that's Star Trek strange new worlds a new season is coming out next month and then there is one more season after that to still come out so might take awhile to finish watching.

I should also mention that during one of our Home Economics classes in high school while we were working they put on the Stargate movie and everyone got too distracted to finish their work. Even though I had seen it a few times at that point it is one of my Favorite memories from high school. I'm sure that created a few new fans.

I have decided to make a post about Stargate and my history with it.
I just wanted to say thank you to @martingero @BaronDestructo @MichaelShanks @bradtravelers @rachel_luttrell and everyone else that ever had anything to do with Stargate (I don't know who else is on this platform.)
A little about my history with stargate below and yes I included most of this in my email to the Amazon contacts.

When I was about 5 or 6 My dad put on the original Stargate movie and ignited my love for Sci-Fi.
In 1997 I was 6 and I remember watching the pilot episode on TV with my family it was the only show we would all gather round and watch every week.
(My dad was a big Sci-Fi nerd and eventually introduced me to Lost in Space and Star Trek the Original series on VHS as well which he grew up watching when it originally aired - This wasn't included in the email but just wanted to add context)
When the VHS and later the DVD's released My Aunty purchased them and whenever we visited we would watch the show together when we were between seasons waiting for the next one to come out.
Once the show and all its spin-off's ended I ended up buying them all on DVD and would watch them every year.
Now that it is on streaming I still watch them every year but now on prime. (Some of you might have read about what episode I'm on every now and again when I post about my rewatches)
My Aunty passed away in 2019 and My Dad passed away in 2024 so the news that a new show was being made by the right people made me and my mum very emotional and now as a 34 year old (Who started acting because of my love of Stargate) seeing that it has been cancelled has destroyed me almost as much as losing my dad.
I finally built up the courage to tell my mum this morning and it absolutely devastated her. She was extremely excited to watch new a stargate series. We don’t know what to do now.
I want to start my rewatch so I think I will pull out my DVD’s and watch them again maybe even with the commentary tracks again. (Love the lyrics to the stargate song by the way)
