I'm very jaded, I know. And it's my own fault. No one told me to search up shoveldog, no one told me to search up Ronnie Mcnutt's suicide which struck deep because I came from a family of veterans. I don't want anyone to make the same mistakes I did. Save your innocence.
My early exposure to graphic content like gore may have been largely positive overall, you will never catch me speeding, getting involved in the drug trade, or robbing anyone because I've seen the consequences of what happens. Still, it is visual poison, it's not for everyone.
I will not deny the times where I was scared. Where I wanted to throw up. Where I refused sleep because of my vivid nightmares. Where I felt like my soul had leapt from its body. But I kept watching anyways, knowing full well those were all living human beings.
@Casketgirl88 Now I have another excuse not to pursue romantic relationships with women I'm friends with. Just seems like a game of walking on eggshells.
I don't know why I wanted to bring this up in the first place, it's not like anyone is listening. On paper it might seem like I'm an ignorant extremist larper who's friends with other ignorant extremist larpers, but that's not true, I'm still pretty jaded. I don't mind anyone.
Even though I talk to people who are less accepting of the trans community than I am, I want to be clear that I don't hate them or try to upset them too much. This is also true for any other cultural or ethnic group. Not because I believe in fairness, I just don't care.
But I would argue that the trans community is overrun by provocative idiots who compete for status and attention, as if they were on a varsity team. I'm sick of it and I'm sick of pretending that I don't love them. Despite constantly seeing them destroy themselves online.
