@conrad_truedson @polevaultpower #racewalking isn’t much different than the breaststroke. It’s not the fastest and it looks a bit different. Loss of contact is the least of our sport’s issues. TV presentation, removing takeoff boards, 50k to 35k, ignorant people 🫢…. those are the issues

@polevaultpower @TimHutchings1 - how the sport is judged has nothing to do with its popularity. Watch the strike zone box at an MLB game and the umpire’s calls, walkers are beautifully painted the corners of the box. Yes, there is a minimal flight phase, just call the gross loss of contact.
