@PimpnShrtSelrs@Anc_Aesthetics Dude, do the american born people even want to be TAs and go to a non top 10 STEM grad program? and make a barely living wage? Usually they go to work in the industry making multiples of a TA salary. Those interested in advanced degree usually come back sponsored by employers
@JulieBorowski They are not cheaper. And most employers would love to hire american, it is less hassle to do so. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, STEM fields do not attract enough students, esp in advanced programs. That said, there are flaws in the current H1-B program the need fixing.
