I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X.
I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next.
If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!
I had good reasons to quit Facebook and Instagram so i certainly won't be joining Threads.
Honestly, I'm only still on Twitter out of morbid curiosity to witness how badly Musk continues to handle it. Like front-row seats on the Titan/ic.

The next issue of Switch Player will also be the final one. It's been a great run, but the writing has been on the wall for some time. It's not the end of us covering Nintendo in print and we will soon announce what is happening next!
Just a reminder that with moribund social networks abound, the best, most consistent way to get Piczle news (and free puzzles!) is to sign up to the Club Piczle Newsletter!

Nota bene: when i did eventually quit that job the boss came down to my desk to tell me I'd regret that decision. I never did, but in retrospect he wasn't that bad a guy, all things considered. Still, it was funny, he was funny. I'm glad it was part of my career.
I've had a couple of highlights in my #gamedev career and one of them was a glorious couple of months pitching for a Looney Tunes project that ultimately didn't get made. /Thread
I'm still Warner Bros > Disney simply because i had the privilege of spending a few months deeply researching Looney Tunes' amazing art. I totally should have stolen all those LT art books when I eventually left that studio...
