These days, I've been thinking a lot about Scorpio rising 's Cancer 9th house, specifically in regards to parenthood. Some notes & quick thoughts:

▪️Bc the 9th house can be regarded as formal study, Scorpio risings may do really well in Child Development & Family Studies, as well as Nursing (maternity & pediatrics as specialities)
▪️The Sun finds its joy in the 9th house. Sun is what brings vitality, life, and fun. Thus Cancer 9H= parenthood can be a very joyful, life-giving experience for some Scorpios. (That Aqua 4H can make things a little tricky though 🫣. Aqua can = adoption. So maybe some Scorpios find this enjoyment with adopting/fostering kids).
▪️The 9H= teacher, life direction, and spiritually elevated experiences. Parenthood can be one of the greatest experiences of a Scorpio's life

I've been thinking a lot about Scorpio risings ' Aquarius 4th house. I always see interpretations about it expressing as not fitting into the family's dynamics, being the black sheep of the fam. But there are other groups/societies (Aqua) that we are born into and are identified by (4H)- ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, etc. So there's something about the Scorpio that is different, that makes them an outsider from their cultures of origin. Your skin color, language, religion, fashion style, behavior, opinions & viewpoints, maturity level, how you walk/talk/carry yourself, the things you like, the people you love. There is something foreign about you. And this Aquarian thing that makes you stand out may result in feeling or being ostracized 🤔🤔🤔 Note: this could apply to you as an individual but it could also maybe apply to your family. Your family as a GROUP is different than their surroundings or societal/familial origins.

Everyone has all energies in the chart. All signs are present. In the placidus chart however, there can be "intercepted houses"- some signs are not on the cusp and thus are "hidden" within a house. So then you end up with duplicated signs on the cusp. They say the signs that are hidden within the house (your Leo and Aqua) have a harder time being expressed & there's a sort of overcompensation from the duplicated signs (Taurus & Scorpio) within the native's life. Yes, they will. Your 10th house story starts with Leo (bc all Scorpio risings have this whole sign) but it will continue with Virgo energy (and early Libra also if you were born a late degree Scorpio). Most likely, the story will be more noticeable and pronounced and feel more personal with Virgo transits bc Virgo makes up majority of the house. But there's a Sun-Mercury (& Venus if Libra is there also) influence to your 10th house story, instead of JUST Sun or JUST Mercury. They are each other's missing piece. Hope this makes sense 🙏

Just some quick thoughts about how this relates to Scorpio risings. (I'll probably add more later but for now this is what comes to mind:

▪️The fact that Scorpions don't generate this glowing light on their own but reflect the outside source of the UV light= how Scorpios are HIGHLY sensitive to their environments, and are thus able to pick up invisible energies other people are emitting. The Scorpio will reflect what's hidden beneath and become a sort of beacon of revelation. They can reveal who among us in our surroundings have something to hide 🫣 wayy before the truth actually comes out.

▪️You see how the scorpion runs and tries to escape from the light source? This can show how 1) Scorpios feel SUPER vulnerable being exposed when it's their own secrets being revealed. They feel unsafe and run to find protection again, under the cover of darkness. Other people can also sometimes act as predatory toward the Scorpio and take advantage of their vulnerabilities so Scorpios feel like they need to protect themselves by distancing. 2) Scorpios have the capacity to absorb A LOT of other ppl's emotional stuff. & People tend to project onto the Scorpio (sometimes the Scorpio allows it and sometimes they are unwilling participants in trauma dumping sessions). So the Scorpio tends to hold/store lots of invisible junk in their psyches, which can be a PAINFUL experience. They need isolation and time for purging not only their own emotional junk but other people's as well. They need time for emotional rebound and psychic health restoration so they may disappear for some time in order to do so
▪️Scorpios a lot of the time don't really like to be perceived. However, they need to know that: 1) They can't hide forever lol. The light will literally find them & 2) One of their evolutionary purposes is to be a leader. They are most of the times the best candidate because they can navigate through the dark and the unknown. (They literally can see in the dark). They can point out impending danger and doom before anyone else can sense it. & They can become guides and beacons of hope during crises & intense transitional phases in life.
