Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.

Depression didn’t leave me. I killed it.

No therapist, no girlfriend, no "positive vibes" mantra pulled me out. It was me vs me. And the weak version of me had to die....ruthlessly.

What finally worked? The war plan:

1. Woke up at the same time every damn day.
Routine kills chaos. Chaos breeds depression.
No matter how I felt, I got up like my life depended on it.....because it did.

2. Hit the gym like a man possessed.
Not to look good for anyone. To feel like a man again.
You can’t cry under 100kg of deadlift.
Pain left when muscle came.

3. Cut out junk—food, people, content.
You are what you consume.
Depression feeds on sugar, porn, gossip, and Netflix.
I starved it.

4. Set 3 non-negotiable daily wins.
Didn’t care if I felt like trash.
3 victories every day: a cold shower, 20 pushups, one hard task.
Momentum makes depression your bitch.

5. Started journaling like a monk on a warpath.
Dumped every dark thought on paper.
Faced it. Tracked my triggers. Watched my own mind like a sniper.
Awareness = power.

6. Rebuilt my soul.
Prayed even when I felt nothing.
Spoke to God like I was demanding answers, not whispering to the sky.
Faith gave me fire.

7. Replaced excuses with execution.
No one’s coming to save me.
Every minute I waited for help was a minute I delayed my resurrection.
So I became my own savior.

Stop waiting for life to get better.
You get better.

Here's a bit of advice, arresting and deporting poor expats who had been trafficked is not the solution to stop trafficking of expat workers, on the contrary, it's aiding traffickers directly by giving them the opportunity to traffic more workers.
Let me explain.
Many people make fake companies and acquire many quota slots, bringing in workers, taking between $1,500 to $2,000 from each person. When they arrive, there's no job, they arrive on tourist visa, they are told visa will be changed to work visa, we are talking about people who can't read or write. They are innocent people who had mortgaged their homes to get this $1,500 in order to get jobs so they can recover this money and get a 5 year contract.
These poor trafficked people are being arrested like criminals and deported. The traffickers who are Maldivians and state officials are never arrested.
It's like when a person is raped, the victim is punished, same thing.
To stop this, you have to cut the head of the dragon.
Unless we put ourselves in their shoes, we wouldn't understand. We demonize others without thinking.
A party leader is not God, dont treat your leaders like a god. They are humans, and not everything they say or do are right.

To be a good Muslim, you have to be a good person first.

The international community should support Sri Lanka 🇱🇰!

It’s only two weeks since Sri Lanka elected Anura Kumara Dissanayaka President. He has used the time well.

* He got the diplomacy exactly right. First meeting with the Indian high commissioner, then the Chinese ambassador, signaling that India is most important for Sri Lanka, then comes China next. Later he met ambassadors from everywhere else, the West, Russia and more. This is a clear signal of a “Sri Lanka first” foreign policy.

* Immediately upon swearing in he visited the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy and was blessed by the mahanayakes. Later he met with Tamil and Muslim political and religious leaders. His insistence on creating a Sri Lanka for all ethnic communities is strong.

* He has reached out to the business community underlining that only working closely with business, can he create a prosperous Sri Lanka and bring the resources needed to improve education, health and opportunities for the poor.

* He brings a non-corrupt core of people to state power. By reducing luxury car allowances for ministers, he signals a more modest life style for leaders.

* Dressing in khaki he signals a leadership close to people.

None of of this will by itself solve all problems in Sri Lanka. It will not calm all skepticism to a left wing leader among diplomats. But it is for sure a good start. Everyone should now roll up their sleeves and help him build a peaceful, multi ethnic, green and prosperous Sri Lanka.
