@mtgreenee Dream Body Clinic is awesome! I have degenerative disc disease and suffered from chronic spasms and pain where I could hardly walk at times. I received stem cell treatment in November of 2023 and no longer have those spasms and chronic pain.
@learningcrypto OpenAI has first mover advantage and dominate market share which means it has actual interactions to benefit from. The data from the Internet will reach a limit in furthering AI intelligence.
DNS is also a culprit here, and while it's a distributed database, it's centrally coordinated through ICANN, registries, etc. DNS can be blocked and domains seized by governments or blocked by national firewalls. DNS has been subject to takeover attempts and DDoS attacks.
Filecoin however, can operate without DNS as it's built on top of libp2p (same network stack as IPFS) where nodes identify each other using cryptographic Peer IDs.
@Erin4Parents There's no need to identify as anything or anyone, just be. The whole trans thing is based on choosing an identity which is like feeding the ego. We can just be who we are in the bodies we're born with. We all make different choices throughout our lives.
@0ccultbot The belief that consciousness arises in the brain is, at its core, a nihilist notion.
No machine or AI can ever model or produce what it does not — and cannot — possess.
@theRealDiel811 @TaraBull808 Fair, I had not seen or heard that quote from him. My assertion that he had empathy was from my observations of his actions. I'm also not saying her claims are truthful or not as I don't know...
Intelligence is about to become cheap.
AI gives anyone instant expert reasoning.
That doesn’t mean wisdom.
If people keep buying what’s sold to them, they’ll just get misled faster.
The real power isn’t “AI consciousness.”
It’s human creativity + AI → autonomous individuals who see clearly and act wisely.
@RaoulGMI Humans working with AI will create new knowledge, but AI is not nor will it be conscious. It is the combination of human creativity and AI that will be the powerhouse, not AI in and of itself.
We’re bootstrapping a new trust layer for the digital age. That doesn’t have to mean centralized control — digital IDs can be designed to be decentralized and selective, where individuals choose what to share and when. Digital identity is coming one way or another; the real question is whether we shape it to empower people or allow it to become a control system.
