You obviously don't know much about the insurance industry. That's how these huge claims work, sometimes. Wait on a claim like this to be settled and you'll be waiting a while. In the meantime, how much rebuilding gets done? This rebuilding needs to start immediately and this is how to do it.
I'd bet that if it was Trump's decision, Republicans would be happy as hell. But instead, you're just using this as a bitching point.
@matthewmaddock@petehoekstra "Before a man speaks it is always safe to assume that he is a fool. After he speaks, it is seldom necessary to assume it." —HL Mencken
Does that hit home a bit, @matthewmaddock?
@NixTake2@DavidBrown17988@sunsungirly@TomFitton It was unclear what you meant. However, I'll borrow your bright red crayon and remind you that the right had people walking around with paper bags collecting ballots in polling places. That's really secure.
@MarcPirollo@TurnerGardens@ZeekArkham Nope, I don't. With times being different, tho, I'd be willing to bet he only had one disaster on his mind when he said it.
@MarcPirollo@TurnerGardens@ZeekArkham Do you have proof he meant otherwise? Disasters have increased since World War II and Churchill's comment has been misconstrued. That misconstruing is in part because of conspiracy theorists and social media.
@PatriciaHo64614 @mastarP001 Learn how things work in cases like this. Government pays to fix it quick and subrogates against the insurance carrier and ship's owner.
Really? So you're saying man is now responsible for all disasters? Are you serious? What about nature?
And the saying is not in government. It is attributed to Winston Churchill and was, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” He meant that the crisis of World War II could help get the UK, US and Russia working together. It didn't have to do with anything you suggest.
@JoeyMannarinoUS What's your net worth, Joey? How much do you make a year spewing crap? From what we read, you can afford that easily. Stop bitching like you can't pay that. Hell, if you can't, stop eating out.
@ZeeStrong60 @JoeyMannarinoUS @lavern_spicer You have no idea what you're talking about. From AIDS being a death sentence when it first appeared, patients are living more than 35 yrs with medication. They've found a prophylactic medicine and provide much needed education and testing.
