NEW: Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, who battered two female officers at Manchester Airport, has *finally* been jailed for 3.5 years.
Good, but not long enough.
Absolute scum.
Labour would rather bankroll migrant benefits than keep the country safe.
There's still no sign of the Defence Investment Plan - why? They’ve chosen welfare spending over defence.
Stopping benefits for foreign nationals would save £7bn. But they won’t.
The EHRC guidance is not legally binding. It is drawn up to help organisations ensure policies and practices are lawful. If Edinburgh City Council thinks it knows better, it has the option of proceeding as it sees fit. Might want to bump up its legal budget first, mind you.
The Home Office now say they'll be putting more illegal migrants in Bicester, Barnham, Linton-on-Ouse, Crowborough, and Wethersfield.
Some of these sites will host illegal migrants until 2030.
But the Government didn't think that was worthy of announcing in Parliament.
Sturgeon had the right to answer No Comment to every question, but to then claim she’d “fully cooperated with the police” is quite something.
Classic Sturgeon, more faces than the town clock …
So let me get this straight. By the time the damages are paid and the legal costs worked out, my local health trust will have paid at least a cool million to defend one pervert who wants to force female nurses to undress in front of him.
I'm guessing that the massive debts they've accrued paying people off for medical negligence and misdiagnosis are not entirely coincidental.
#DarlingtonNurses
The Greens were silenced
Yesterday in the Scottish Parliament I tried 7 times to get them to confirm if they still want to abolish prisons
7 times they refused to answer
These people are a danger to public safety
@reformparty_uk will oppose them every step of the way.
This is the sickness at the heart of modern Britain.
The state fails your child. You make sacrifices to give them something better. Labour decides you're the problem and need to be vilified. Pathetic.
Isn’t it just unbelievable to think that some people in power thought it would be a great idea to allow men, who said they were women, to live in women’s prisons & share women’s cells Prisons where women could be accused of the horrible crime of being a grass if they spoke up. I hope these women sue the hell out of the idiots that put in cells with rapists & murders
The proposed changes to sentencing from the SNP is an absolute scandal the more I think about it
None of this was on the ballot paper. None of it was seriously discussed with voters. All brought in under the cover of crisis (caused in large part by the SNP). Utterly shameful.
What I love about ‘Andy will be Labour’s first female leader’ is that Labour has a similar aversion to electing black and ethnic minority leaders (just one so far), but no one would *dare* brief that Burnham would be the first black leader. The contempt is specifically for women.
If what this SNP branch secretary says is true - that the party's in-house solicitor knew (and was discussing) problems with SNP finances three YEARS before Murrell's arrest - that blows Swinney's paper-thin "we're the victims, nothing more to see here" routine out of the water.
Hampshire police has just confirmed to the BBC that in the four days Henry Nowak’s killer was in custody he was never put in handcuffs.
So you have to be white and the victim of a racial killing before you’re handcuffed these days.
I weep for Britain.
“The single decision Bridget Philipson made that has been most revealing.
“Eton and Star Academies wanted to open a great new free school in Middlesbrough to help more talented young people access the best universities - backed by funding from Eton.”
“When Bridget became Education Secretary she killed the project.”
Prejudice trumped social mobility.
Andy Burnham promised his Makerfield constituents he would lower immigration. Now he’s considering giving 2.15million ‘Boriswave’ migrants the right to settle permanently and access the welfare state. His u-turns will bankrupt Britain, says Rob Bates

The concealers of a massive fraud, publicly admitted, still walk the streets of Scotland (and London). But who helped them? Whose job was it to stop them? Who failed? https://t.co/vWCj4W5MpP
