"It had fused my bowel and womb together... it was in the ligaments going out of my back."
Suzanne was diagnosed with endometriosis 22 years after first getting symptoms.

What does an ideal #endometriosis diagnosis look like, and what can we do now? ✍️
At the end of August we joined Lucy Whittaker, Nicola Boydell and Marie Larsson for the 'Diagnostic Futures in Endometriosis' workshop.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time!
Our Co-Director Andrew Horne recently visited Professor René Wenzl at the University of Vienna, delivering a lecture on innovative approaches to managing endometriosis as part of his Adjunct Professor appointment. 🤝
We already have a few people walking for ENDO1000, why not join them and raise money for endometriosis research?

Finally managed to get back into books. However these days they are mainly audiobooks. I can listen while I get organised for the bath/bed routine. Plus I can also do it while I’m doing any housework & don’t need to have my ears listening for “Mummy/Mama”.

I haven’t read anything by @jdkirkbooks before. However, when this came up onto my suggestions & seen it was narrated by @davidtennantpod & @mslouisebrealey.
This book drew me in with its many twists & emotional rollercoaster. Sarah has lost her husband Nick.

@JDKirkBooks@DavidTennantPod He needed to tell her something the night he died. Although you feel there is something more sinister
You could feel the tormented loss & grief of Sarah. The behaviour from Nick would swing from love to suspicion.
It’s a book about grief, jealousy & AI.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet up with some of our southerly ambassadors in London last night to get inspired for next steps. We’re excited to keep pushing the ENDO1000 project towards our goal of raising £1M to fund this crucial research #endometriosis#1in10#talkendo
"there’s been a complete reframing of this disorder as a neuroinflammatory whole-body condition" - ENDO1000 co-lead Philippa Saunders spoke to Scientific American about changing understanding of endometriosis away from it just being gynaecological

Finally managed to watch @robbiewilliams on #Netflix.
I have always loved RPW during & after his #TakeThat days.
What a brilliant watch!
It just goes to show that you shouldn’t judge someone’s choices when you don’t know the full story. #BeKindAlways
Taking 22 years to finally be listened to & diagnosed with #Endometriosis!! This is NOT good enough.
To wait another year to be diagnosed with #PCOS!! This is NOT good enough.
This is being FAILED by those who swore an oath to prioritise the Health & Wellbeing of patients.
