@DanielWhiteson @karch_andreas @OpenAI openai support is now telling me that I need to wait 30 days to restore access to my institutional account (after creating and deleting it on the advice of their help bot), but that even after that it will not be possible to transfer my successful verification. good system 👍

@karch_andreas @OpenAI Was a human ultimately able to help you? Someone from their support team finally reached out via email but just told me that SheerID handles the verification and that there’s nothing they can do. Incredible stuff all around.

@OpenAI I tried to register but verified my credentials while logged into my personal chatgpt account. This error seems to have been fatal, there is no way to transfer the verification from my personal account to the institutional email used for the verification. Can someone please help

@karch_andreas @OpenAI The chatbot actually sent me on multiple goose chases with actively counterproductive results — e.g. as a result any account associated with my institutional email is now locked for 30 days. Baffling that it is this hard.
