@DaveMcKinley2@NYSThruway Terrible. Travel from MA to Buffalo often and whoever designed these messed up big time. Tiny bathrooms and overcrowded eating area. Big screw up.

@bostonradio Maybe I’m just getting old but this was the WORST year for New Years Eve I’ve seen on TV. Rockin New Years - lame; Cooper and Cohen on CNN a bore. NBC and CBS made a half hearted attempt.
@bostonradio That’s Beasley’s fault. They did not need to let him go - 98.5 makes plenty of money. Arcand needs a job so good for him. Would be karma if he brought secrets that hurt his old employer.
@lightninglegs11 Yes but there is a reason why the ex is the ex. The negatives outweighed the good. Maybe suggest some of the things you look back fondly on whatever those are.
@SecretGuyStuff I think the homophobia has been instilled/promoted by the “news”. This loss of close male bonds is a relatively new thing. If men want to go do man things together they may be accused discrimination if women are not invited. Women can do woman things together with no backlash
@maendeleo2110 @FBNHistory I lived thru it as a kid and heard all the BS. When it switched to global warming in the late 80’s early 90’s it clarified how much BS it all was/is. Look in magazines and newspapers from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. Also old network news reports if you can find them.
@extrashaky @FBNHistory Yes I remember that and blaming it on hair spray. Also don’t forget acid rain which disappeared by the late 80’s. Turns out the lakes in question were acidic to start with and logging waste neutralized it - logging ended and lakes got acidic again. Nothing to do with rain.
@FBNHistory When in 8th grade (1982) my social studies teacher told us we would be out of oil in 30 years - that was 10 years ago and the only reason for a shortage right now is govt policies in the US and Europe.
