It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to a true country music icon, Opry member Dolly Parton.
There is no doubt Dolly’s mark on the world, and on us here at the Grand Ole Opry, will be deeply felt for generations to come. She taught us to always lead with kindness, generosity, and compassion. May her legacy live on through her songs, the lives she touched, and the countless artists she inspired. There will never, ever be another one like her.
We will always love you, Dolly. 🤍
I’m not joking when I say that Morgantown has turned into the best college baseball atmosphere in the entire country!!! I’ve been to all of them, WE HAVE THE BEST!!! Are you kidding me with this place! Unreal! LET’S GOOO!!!!!!
“There’s a book that is sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off. There’s a man that died for all our sins hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus and he’ll give you a second chance ‘til you can’t.”
Thank you @KidRock for a great halftime show!
Major Harris rewrote the record books and left an indelible mark on college football history during his illustrious @WVUfootball career! He became the first player in NCAA history to rush for over 2,000 yards and pass for over 5,000 yards in a career. #BlackHistoryMonth#HailWV
The things that pop into your mind … Once went to a place called Claire Tavern (I think) across the Ohio River in Ohio and one of my guys ordered a mixed drink. He asked, “Are you going to mix this?” and the old lady tending the bar replied, “It will mix in your belly!” 😆
Bob Huggins on if he thought "the world was standing still" when the Big 12 Tournament was being cancelled last March:
"Well I've been dead a few times and they've shocked me back to life so my perspective of the world standing still is little a bit different than most."
“His fingerprints are all over my career. I attribute every good thing that has ever happened to me to Him and His Son Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.” -@CharlieDaniels
