@minnStockBets@pearlosnhlpow I think Yurov, Stramel, late 1st is slightly better than Zeke, Rossi, Ohgren and late 1st, but I like Zeke a lot and Rossi is solid middle 6. I don't have a problem getting Brodin's $ and injuries off the books. Any deal without Ek/Wally in it is likely worth it, imo.
@GleemanAndGeek He will absolutely get another shot and flourish in the short term only to suffer a soft tissue injury that essentially ends the season for him and the Twins. Hope I am wrong. But we know this doesn’t end without a little salt on the wound
@joshjames11b@BrickCenter_ The problem is more on league and players imo. Players should be embarrassed. Refs are missing too many calls, but it's a fast, physical game. It's way easier to see in slow mo. The league needs create a suspension system like techs/flagrants to review calls after the game.
@WolvesGotNext Trying to draw a charge doesn’t bother me as much as some of the flops. But man the NBA has to do something about this. Tanking is secondary to the flopping nonsense imo.
@KT_THFC@DonHarris4 Wolves players are all over him - it's the only way to even try to stop him. Plenty of crappy calls are going in the favor of Spurs and Wolves. Not many fans on X are keeping an unbiased count. Not saying I am, but I see aggregious calls and shake my head regardless of the team.
@JahlilWill If you're truly watching games, you're seeing inconsistency from refs on every single trip down the court for & against every team in every game. Wolves fans would argue Ayo got fouled before the time out/hail mary inbound play. Bet you don't think agree.
@KT_THFC@DonHarris4 The slow drip of clear fouls not getting called and then a weak foul getting called along with playoff intensity/pressure just amps things up. Wemby was sending a message with his elbow, which isn't ok. There are plays by Wolves players I think are dangerous/immature too.
@DonHarris4 That's the real problem, but who cares, 1 billion clips are viewed on social media with fans saying refs ripped their team off. Inconsistencies on fouls called in playoffs, at the end of game, are changing game outcomes. It's not fun to watch & dangerous with gambling legal.
@DonHarris4 Wemby was clearly mugged, but can't justify the elbow. If the league thinks a foul call prevents the thrown elbow-NBA is going to address real issue here, right? Refs in playoffs fluctuate between rewarding flopping, lettin'em play and ticky-tack fouls on every team in ever game
@Parkerfox24 He looks like the least athletic player on the floor. Every time he drives and dribbles, I wonder how he was the league's best guy off the bench.
@SpursCulture Jaden mugged him whole play. Photo of Naz's arm is misleading video=box out gone very wrong against a freak athlete but NBA wasn't going to suspend him Hopefully next time a nasty elbow doesn't hospitalize a guy. Refs let clear fouls go & call ticky tack ones. This is the problem
@Kyle_S17@arnoldog21@tom_orsborn@WembyCentral The irony is that he was fouled by McDaniels, and he's not trying to rip the ball away. Jaden's holding his other arm. He looked for Reid & lined him up. Maybe a little feud's been brewing. Not a good look for a guy who might flop too much but is otherwise incredibly fun to watch
@gotti612@FirstTake@KendrickPerkins Ant is playing on two bad knees, Ayo's missed time, Donte's out - Are you giving the Spurs an asterisk if they win the series? None of the national pundits are. Can't and shouldn't allow that precedent if NBA truly cares about player safety.
@thor_wayne90@Saxyprince Agreed, they were letting them play all night - the problem I have is that guys were getting mugged both sides of the ball and then they call a ticky-tack foul. The inconsistency drives me nuts.
@andrewperloff Well, he had the ball. Maybe he passes it then complains to the refs afterward. Can't throw an elbow-it's lucky he's a superstar or he'd be out for Game 5. Fouls were overlooked all playoffs. Refs let'em play, and then call a ticky-tack foul. The inconsistency is a real problem
@RealSkipBayless Skip handing out moral victories is as ridiculous as this horribly ill-informed take. Silly to rip a guy for needing oxygen/fading late when he's playing on 2 injured knees after only 9 1/2 games over past 6 weeks and staying off his feet for much of Apr per team instruction.
