Larry David recalls that his mom begged him to take the civil service exam and work for the post office after college. Looking back, he jokes she “wasn’t entirely wrong,” admitting the job actually sounded pretty appealing. https://t.co/q4AgC2Uzdr
Q: Are you afraid to be speaking out?
Jack Smith: No, not at all. I am not going to be intimidated. If the thought was to go after me so that I wouldn't speak up about the corruption that's happening or speak up to defend these agents and prosecutors, that is a grave miscalculation.

Europe's largest active volcano is erupting once again.
Thick, bright orange lava has been flowing from Mount Etna, on the island of Sicily.
Italy's Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported that molten lava burst from an eruptive vent at an altitude of around 3,000 meters.
Jack Smith: I'll give you an example from from my life. I resigned as special counsel. I know I need to get a lawyer because the president has said he wants to jail me for doing my job. And so I retain lawyers, as soon as that becomes public, the president and the justice department target that law firm, and they do it because they don't want me to have counsel. They don't want to have anyone represent me…
In Italy, authorities said Wednesday they're keeping Mount Etna's alert level at "yellow" as bursts of gas and magma continue after its latest eruption.
Footage shows lava lighting up the night sky as molten lava flows down the mountainside on the island of Sicily.
At last check, scientists say the lava has traveled nearly 1,000 feet since the eruption began Friday.
Mount Etna is the largest volcano in Europe, and while eruptions are common, they rarely pose a threat to locals.
