We were delighted to receive this morning a very kind donation of 5 brand new laptops from a resident of our local community.๐ป
It really reminded us of how special our local community is!
Making a real difference to learners struggling to work from home.
Thanks! ๐

I absolutely love teaching. Online teaching from home is one of the hardest things I have ever done What makes it all worthwhile are moments seeing the kids and watching some of them work together whilst they're in a hub. It makes my heart burst #proudteachermoment@Maesydderwen
#edutwitter#physics As a non-physics specialist writing KS3 (year 7 specifically) booklets, can anyone help me with Flemings left hand rule/catapult field activities ? :)
There are no ITU beds in the valleys. So you might be 23 and invincible if you get COVID but what if you crash your car? Or a friend takes an overdose or a parent needs emergency surgery? Guess what! No beds for you either. And THATโS how this affects everyone. Rant over.
Continuing to write key stage 3 booklets for students. Y9 chem gets finished tomorrow and then itโs down to making the physics ๐ญ
Booklets are great because it gives you a spine to follow in every class while you teach the topic in your own way. Excellent for online learning too
Dear Parent/Carer, weโve received updated info today- the return of face-face teaching has been changed to January 11th instead of the 6th. Weโll provide further details as arrangements are made. Happy New Year to all
