@BathEcho Well they have a housing crisis because they allowed the universities to expand too much and allowed too many HMOs to accommodate the additional students which had a knock on effect on available housing in Bath , subsequently pushing up prices , forcing many residents out
@bathnes Well if you stopped spending ridiculous amount of money on stupid road schemes, parking initiatives and that blood Xmas market you may have money left for vital services!!
@bathnes just got to our office on Quiet Street only to discover the road closed off and stalls right outside , as a business we had no notification of this ..due to have works done on our building today so that may have to be cancelled- great job!
@OliLondonTV Just a pathetic act , with no purpose , this group need to realise that stupid stunts are not the way to make a difference and it’s merely a buggerance and whats the betting they used some form of transport to get there to do this that required fuel and oil to run
@BathEcho At a public meeting we were told recently that the proposed expansion of the RPZ would help with funding as the council are running a shortfall but 5 million to spend on the more affluent areas of Bath on nice pavements and even more traffic restrictions? Makes no sense
@BathEcho Some of these issues discussed would have been solved by the redevelopment of the high street / football ground as there would have been additional student housing and parking on football days , but too many objections from local residents saw it thrown out.
@bathnes Great job B&NES !! Let’s just create liveable spaces in some of the most affluent areas of Bath.. then put it to consultation, where no doubt residents views will be ignored las you have already wasted a ridiculous amount of money already!
