@ThatEricAlper September 1987. After the VMAs, Prince played a show at the Country Club (1k capacity nightclub) in Reseda. Tix went on sale that morning, I stood in line overnight to get them. Ended up not getting in because so many celebs showed up that they exceeded capacity. Got my $$ back
