@RCNconnects You should be able to change on any router/modem through your PC. You just have to change the numbers to new servers manually instead of using the auto connect. The speeds really suck though, I’m paying for 100 mbs and get beteeen 25-50 now.
@RCNconnects For those that still aren’t working, I just got mine working. You’ll have to change the DNS servers to Google’s (internet search on the how to) and then clear the DNS cache (internet search) then restart the router. See RCN, simple to explain.
@RCNconnects Speeds are still very slow, now down to 1/4 of what I’m paying for after I fixed my internet issues myself. It’s going to be a big Adios to Astound.
@Chisox229@VickiMo54644641 @RCNconnects They just told me again to reset my router. The incompetence of this company. If it’s not fixed my tomorrow afternoon when I get home from working I’m done. Xfinity is $10 cheaper for 300 Mbs.
@amanslaughter@VickiMo54644641 @RCNconnects We had caps on WoW as well, and I’m sure RCN will continue with them. I’m pretty sure they were the average in data usesge. As an average user, I guess my family never hit them …2TBs
@InnovateIt @RCNconnects You forgot about Dina, she is the unlucky one with Sunday duty I guess. 5 days and no internet, such a great company that bought WoW.
@RCNconnects There are thousands that don’t have connection. It seems like RCN has 1 person on IT duty since it’s been 5 days of no service. After 6 months you’d think they would have stress tested their servers…and let all of us know.
