@CarlMuhlstein@Twitter From reading the full memo, it sounds similar to the “unlimited vacation days” policies of many tech companies... projecting undertones of reverse psychology.
@eliotwb If you're keeping score at home, that's a coworking-contrarian trade @ a 52x revenue multiple vs. 67x when We was @ $47B... I suppose the 1,252 PE is marginally more rational as well... crazy times.
Fintech jobs are flocking to Charlotte and companies are choosing #coworking for its speed, convenience and optionality. #CRE continues to evolve from a fixed asset into an on-demand product. https://t.co/l0mgX1o5uX
The DC region is one of the few places where the suburban office market is outperforming the urban core. Why? We’ll be discussing the economic, demographic, market and industry drivers causing this dynamic at the @IREM_info 2020 Industry Forecast!

Catch me, @MayorBowser, Matt Kelly of @jbgsmith and others at the @dcbia CEO Forum on January 21 for what promises to be an electrifying event! We’ll be talking tech, coworking, negative interest rates and hopefully a bit of Nats baseball! https://t.co/w1Jw9BrtNE
@OConnellPostbiz @johnsikaitis Is there a precedent for a *football* stadium being a catalyst for economic development? Whatever stimulative effect for hotel/food&beverage, etc. would occur irrespective of whether the stadium is built/subsidized in/by DC vs. PGC.
@eliotwb Love this quote: “the city selected inexperienced scooter operators that plan to learn on the job, at the expense of the public good.” Does flying by the seat of your pants for 20 months confer sage wisdom?
@CarlMuhlstein@eq_office Is this trend dilutive or accretive to value, all things considered? Moving conference centers and gyms from dark basements to penthouses cannibalizes high-rent RBA...but does the creation of exciting new “ecosystems” drive NOI and justify the investment? Time will tell!
@ShiraOvide In their own words, "WeWork isn’t a real estate company. It isn't a technology company. It’s a state of consciousness." (One of my all-time favorite quotes.)
Demand for flexible office space has driven 23% average annual growth of the #coworking sector. @wework alone is aiming to double its global footprint in 2018, with corporate users’ share of revenues climbing from 30% today to over 50% by year-end. #CRE@gwassoc
