@finstumpf @brian11kim @swalesmetroprof@AlexCKaufman Not true of the UK, the UK actually has a much smaller per capita carbon emissions than the US. In the UK it is about 10 tonnes per capita per annum. Where these numbers really fall down is they are NOT full life cycle emissions.

@kmac Long term thinking like this is important but let’s not fall into the trap that green hydrogen is a solution that will avoid significant warming.
@kmac It will be at least another 2 decades before green hydrogen is even remotely commercial at scale. Can you imagine how cheap batteries will be by then? $1.50 per kg of hydrogen will sound ridiculously expensive compared to batteries.
