#ProjectAfrica Day 33: 45km
Wow. One of them days where I just feel proud to be human. The energy on the road was INSANE. These guys know all about the 1’s & 2’s.
I spend so much time running alone I sometimes forget the power of running together, it’s so intrinsically human it makes me feel ALIVE like nothing else.
Huge thank you to all the Namibians who have shown so much grace and kindness to us today and throughout all of our time here so far.
Truly a blessing to have the opportunity to share the tarmac in your beautiful country. I hope to take the overwhelming positivity shown to us and spread it as far as I can throughout the African continent.

#ProjectAfrica Day 30/31 100.2km
Accidentally consumed 650mg of caffeine today. Closed my eyes on the road this arvo and it felt like I’d been teleported to a deep house basement rave. Off my nut tonight.
Other than that it’s been a steady couple days on the stomp. Body nearly back to 10/10.
Wanted to say how buzzing I am to receive tweets and messages every day about people getting out there moving.
This tapped old game of 1’s & 2’s changed my life and it’s great to see some of you out there pushing it aswell. Running isn’t gonna be for everyone but getting after it in any capacity gets my respect🫡
Power to all of you out there whatever your version of smashing tarmac looks like💪
How I shoot and edit 2 videos a week from a van in the middle of Africa: a thread.
This is for people interested in the workflow on #ProjectAfrica, or who want to know more about YouTube editing.
I am far from the best in the business, and I'm sure that this will evolve.
Day 24 of running the entire length of Africa. Vid won’t upload today. Might have something to do with the fact I’m in the middle of nowhere.
Not to worry, still about. Gotta put the work in regardless. No rest days. Big shout out to all the Monday morning warriors on the graft today🫡
48km deep. Still out here smashing tarmac. Apex predators out to play. Luckily for them I had a big lunch.
YouTube vid is now live. Go give it a butch🫡
#ProjectAfrica Day 17: 47.7km
Some 48 hours it’s been. Solo across the border. Into the desert for a night shift. Made it out alive. No sleep. Exhausted. No choice but to carry on into the day. Boiling hot. Ran out of water. No shade anywhere. Just desert and tarmac.
Found a passer by who gave me a lift to next town to resupply. Waiting for boys to cross the border in the support van so they can drop me back to the finish point from the day and I can get back out there this evening to give everything I’ve got left (not much) for day 18. Most tapped I’ve felt in a hot minute. Love this game.
Made it through the night. Relentless 1’s & 2’s. Ain’t seen anything but tarmac and muddy sand for hours.
Rolling straight through to Day 18. Got half a tub of wine gums in my bag and a slither of signal. Lively.
Have a blessed morning🫡
'I've got an infinity amount of rest days lined up for when I'm dead so why would I take one now.'
@hardestgeezer is hoping to break a number of records by becoming the first person ever to run the full length of Africa on foot. Russell Cook hopes to complete a marathon every day until Xmas.
