@IanSurewould@stripesupport There’s a few techniques to make it fast, one is test selectivity to optimise what tests are run pre-merge. There’s also just a lot of effort to keep tests fast and finally a lot of spot instances running in a poo got parallelisation.
@jmbravo_io@stripe It's still two separate people. The minion runner executes the agent and the change is attributed to them. A separate human reviews that change just like we would any other change.
@IanSurewould@stripesupport We have a pretty robust change management process. The tests get run at branch push, pre-merge and post-merge. The change with others then runs through a pre-prod environment before catch to a deploy train. From there it goes through blue / green deploy process.
@sanketsaurav@stripe We're using a fork of block/goose from 2024, mostly as a harness to ensure we have some rigor around human processes like linters, ci fixing etc
We’re excited to announce that Sorbet—a fast, powerful type checker for Ruby, built by @Stripe—is now open source! See https://t.co/K9FL9x0sbw for more.
@British_Airways I have a flight from GLA -> LHR that was rescheduled and a LHR -> SFO that was also with BA but not connected booking. How do I get that rebooked to a later time?
