@nsanmartin Thanks for the follow! It's a great article, especially how it connects their past with what they are doing now, and how they keep their traditions. The videos show a dimension of the photos I wasn't aware of, how the light comes through. Keep up the great storytelling! 👍🏽
@nsanmartin It's great to have Messi in Florida! I have a quick comment about your article on Mexico's indigenous people with photos by Yael Martínez. The word "originarias" does not have a written accent. It is incorrect as "originárias" 5 times in the article. I love Yael's inspired work!
Race and the Borderlands Confrence @SDSU @sdsucal Dr. Nandita Sharma @nsharma101 (Univ. of Hawaii at Manoa) gives an insightful and in-depth presentation on postcolonial racism. #sandiegostate#border#borderlands
Thanks to Walter Thompson-Hernández @WTHDZ for screening and discussing his film If I Go Will They Miss Me (Winner of the Short Film Jury Award: U.S. Fiction) at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival @sundancefest Thanks to @ljwl_plnu @plnu for hosting the event! Such a great film!
Hey. Hey if you’re a premed and still in school - learn Spanish. Add a Spanish minor. And if you’re in med school - Aim to be comfortable enough to ask/answer basic review of systems questions and physical exam in Spanish. Every day I wish I knew more Spanish.
@MDeanClark James was my French professor at UCSB. We both finished our PhDs in 2007. You will not find a kinder, funnier or more humble person anywhere. I also recommended him as a great candidate at APU. That really sucks (for the other profs also). Higher Ed is only about $ & ROI now.
@ryanvizzions Starting to feel the same...nobody sees anything (in my case)... no inspiration to share there either. Keep up the great work... wherever you share that! 👍🏽📷❤️

@RefaelPaulo@MPaarlberg I have seen or shown Central do Brasil 20+ times. I always cry at the end...Fernanda Montenengro is simply amazing. A good one from Argentina is Camila by María Luisa Bemberg. A tear-jerker as well ...and a true story. So many great films!
