Buyers aren't impressed by the heartbeat, they're protected by it. It's the plumbing that makes "governed, on the record" true in real time, not just on paper.
We reversed our default audience: instead of positioning Zilix as a general-purpose coding tool, we repositioned it specifically for MedTech and other regulated engineering teams.
Regulated teams can't adopt agentic coding without answering "can I let this touch our codebase and still answer to Quality/Regulatory?" We were optimizing for the wrong buyer question.

Why do most "autonomous AI engineer" demos lie a little? The approval gates are real but cropped out of the clip. The "audit trail" is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof (the signing key often sits next to the log). And "full traceability" usually lives in a roadmap doc, not the repo; "sandboxed" rarely means "everywhere".
