@raythcap@LFCApproved I remember Hendo came off the bench late in a game once and refused the armband because it didn’t matter who was wearing it, the standard was always set. We had leaders in every position
@raythcap@LFCApproved We’re missing our leaders like Milner. At one point we had 5+ international captains, we had many leaders who didn’t wear the armband for LFC but still maintained the high standards. Robbo and Salah are both leaving and both those types of players
@misterp1ckles@TheAnfieldWrap Salah scored at least 20 goals for 8 consecutive seasons, the only season he didn’t score 20 was his last. The nine season wonder. A living legend. Mohammed Salah, the Egyptian King ❤️🇪🇬
@TBALNS@Tgarratt10 You never hear about Garner having bad performances , it’s either an average or good game. He was man of the match on his England debut too so he’s clearly at the level
@ha06348271@30YearsRed Agreed however the only issue is we don’t have Klopp anymore. He never bought one elite player. He developed good players into world class ones and world class players into elite players. Slot hasn’t got that ability that klopp had. But if Slot leaves, hopefully the new boss does
@Jack_Moore7 If we don’t prepare, we’ll crumble when VVD leaves. It’ll hurt more than the recent legends like Klopp, Firmino, Mane and now Salah. VVD joining us started it all because he fixed our defence immediately and for the first time in years we had a good defence and we won it all
@Jack_Moore7 I like him but based on this clip alone, he plays very similar to Gravenberch. He does exactly what Grav does for LFC however he doesn’t improve our best 11 but he’s a good rotation player. We need a player like him but I think fixing the defence is the biggest concern right now
Can’t help but imagine what Klopp would have done with Wirtz, Ekitike and Ngumoha. Truly believe he would have got a couple more years out of elite level salah too
